Notice for INport Deluxe Owners:

To install Wave Corrector: use the registration number printed on the front of the paper sleeve your software CD came in as the password for unlocking Wave Corrector.

If you’re having some troubles getting your INport going, drop us an email at support@xitel.com. Please remember that we only offer very limited assistance for LPRecorder and LPRipper. You should check out the user manuals in each of these programs and refer to the CFB Website for detailed help.

Please note: the INport's hardware components are completely compatible with Windows Vista and require no upgrades.


INport & INport Deluxe: no sound playback

After plugging in your INport or INport Deluxe, try the following:

1. Go to START -> CONTROL PANEL -> SOUNDS AND MULTIMEDIA PROPERTIES -> AUDIO TAB

2. Make sure that in the Audio tab your soundcard appears as the Preferred Playback device with USB Audio or INport as the Preferred Recording Device. There should also be a check next to the option 'use only preferred device'.

3. When you start LPRecorder you should also make sure that Recording Device is set to USB Device or INport and Playback Device is set as your soundcard and that there is a check next to the option Simultaneous Playback.

4. You should then be able to hear as you record and play your recorded files once done. If you can't, your soundcard will be incorrectly holding onto the audio resources. You can unplug your INport to hear the files, but should update your soundcard drivers in order to playback files with the INport still plugged in.


For us to be able to help you out as quickly as possible, you must include a full description of your setup, including:

  • the serial number on the base of your Xitel unit;
  • the model and brand of the stereo system, television or iPod you're trying to connect; and
  • a full overview of the problem, including a step by step explanation of what is occurring when you try to link up your product.
